VISION

One fine
evening, Sarah was lost in her thoughts gazing the trees in her garden. She has
just now completed her degree and was thinking about the next step in her life.
She is a person who had no serious goals, like many kids of her age she used to
have many temporary goals. An impromptu thought stuck her. She had always
dreamt of doing something back to the society but never tried that. So she
decided to register herself as a volunteer. She registered to go as a scribe
for visually challenged persons. There was an immediate need and she was asked
to present herself in Little flower convent higher secondary School, near
Gemini flyover. She reached the destination an hour earlier as she was pretty
much excited. As soon as she reached the premises, a lady greeted her with a
hearty smile. She enquired Sarah her reason for arrival. When Sarah responded
that she came as a scribe, she directed Sarah to the exam Hall. Sarah walked
through the stairs and waited in the hallway as there were no one. When few
minutes passed, the children started coming to the hallway. A teacher
accompanied them as they have visual impairment. One by one came and sat in the
hallway forming a round circle. They were revising the syllabus and they were
helping out each other in understanding the concepts which the other dint
understand. It was so different for Sarah because the circle in Sarah grew had
never seen this. Nobody helps others to score marks in Sarah's school nor
colleges. Everyone are focused only on getting higher marks. The school bell
rang and everyone kept their books and belongings in a particular place and
aligned themselves in a row for morning school prayer. This happened without
any instruction from their teacher. Sarah was in astonishment as in her school
or college this happens only after continuous instructions from their teacher.
She was amazed by their self discipline. Once the prayer was over, a little
girl came near her and asked whether Sarah would write her exam. Sarah happily
told,' yes' and joined her. They had a little chit chat before as there was
still ten more minutes for the exam to commence. Sarah asked the little girl
her name. She introduced herself as charu. Charu was in her tenth standard and
on that day she had English exams. She was garrulous. Even without question,
she started explaining about her family and her goals to Sarah. Charu's vision
is to become an IAS officer and she spoke about that with that much confidence.
Sarah listened to her speech without taking her eyes off her. Sarah realized
the importance of having a vision in life.
Moral: you
don't need a vision to have vision, it's just about will power and hardwork.

The Moon’s
Secret
Ask the
universe, it has everything in abundance,
Believe in
it wholeheartedly – the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it,
Receive –
Never forget to say/show gratitude,
Megha
believed in the universe as she believed in herself. Being a bibliophile and a
librarian, she announced a vision board workshop based on the book Secret
written by Rhonda Byrne.
It was a
full moon day and her terrace library painted white and blue with glass
windows, wooden bookshelves surrounded by bougainvillea blossoms blooming in
white and pink color made the participants feel at ease.
Let’s sit on
the bamboo mats she instructed and bought out the materials required for the
workshop. A pile of newspapers, magazines, old shoe boxes, colour papers, watercolours,
calligraphy pens, glue, and scissors were placed in the centre.
‘Life is an
experience, live it’ my best friend says and when I asked him how he gifted me
this beautiful book ‘ Secret’. Since then to now I am living a life that I
visualized. Three years ago, I made a vision board of how my terrace library
should look like, what books I must buy, what kind of workshops I must conduct,
what kind of energies I must experience and ink to ink it has happened. The
reason why I took three years is that I wanted to equip myself as a librarian
and so am I here standing in front of you. Your dream is right in front of your
eyes and all you have to do is give it some power through your magical
w(h)ands. Just believe in your dream and it will come true, Megha spoke like a
gentle breeze with so much love and passion.
This space
is all yours and use all these materials to craft your dream future, be it your
health, career, money, relationship – just ask what you want for and believe by
seeing it every day and express gratitude like you have obtained it. Write the
emotions and feelings you will experience as well, she added.
The
participants began their work and the full moon smiled at her with awe and
wonder.
Thank you my
Vennilave , she whispered for making her dream workshop come true!

FATHER'S
VISION:
That was the proud moment for
both, after giving success party to colleagues and friends, they both sat in a
restaurant, and talking about their past life. Yes they are siblings Raju was
elder and Roja the younger one. He was a famous lawyer who just promoted as a
judge and Roja was a teacher who just promoted as head master of school.
Raju said, 'I didn’t expect that we will be like this and smiled '
Roja: in childhood how much you fought with me, haha even in college days too.
Raja; but that was so hard phase of our life right, joined a course forced by father.
Those days started running in their mind
Raja Finished his 10 TH, and he had a dream
of becoming a mechanical engineer, so, he thought of joining computer science,
and at the day of result his father came with the application form of commerce
group and said fill this form and sign it.But Raju opposed and said about his
dream but his dad shouted 'do what I say ' and he moved. As per his father's
wish he studied and joined B.Sc. economics, and then did B.L and graduated and
came out and joined as an assistant lawyer, step by step as a lawyer and now a
judge.
And Roja who just followed her father's decision.
She took degree in maths and joined in school continued as good teacher,
married and now head master of school.
Raju: I hated father for not letting me to
live like, I think, but now I'm regretting for that. He had a vision on our
future and took a right decision, and he struggled more to achieve. Some things
takes time to understand and now I can't even thank him for what he had done...
Roja: yes, he died without seeing his dream
come true moment. Missing him badly and cried.
Both thanked his father in front of his photo.

VISION
"Every perception of our life is the reflection of the beauty bestowed in our heart. Individual perception matters either to move forward or get clogged on your way to reach your destiny".
With this note let us take a look at Ashitha's life.
Ashitha leads a normal life. She preferably maintains a small circle with only few people around her but making sure she has a good bonding among her closed circle.
She moves on, simply with the flow of her life. In her journey of life she identifies her interest in social service. Her journey towards this started in college life, where without visualising anything she joins her college social service team. Ashitha and Anamika's were like minded and they started their journey together.
Each day her experience with the social community taught her so many things in life. Both of them took active participation.
Once while working with the team the head of the service community tried to misbehave with both Ashitha and Anamika. They both initially didn’t knew how to react. Later Anamika was totally upset and she had a generalised view that this is going to be the same with every service community. But Ashitha thought for several times. Her view was totally different. Though she had a bad experience she took it as a challenge and she tried overcoming this. She once again worked under the same head but this time much bolder than ever.
The
fierceful look she carried from that day made everything normal. She made sure
any situation doesn’t go beyond her control. This incident never did clog her
way towards her interest in social service and day by day this made her a stronger
woman. Finally she lands in becoming a social activist...

INSTINCT
On August 4th, a call came to the Police and reported them the murder of Dr.Evans at around 10.30pm. The Police reached the crime scene, the caller was Evans' neighbour. They sent the body for autopsy and started analysing the crime scene, collected a few evidence on the crime scene- a glass, documents, cigar and an air ticket of Buenos Aires. They left a few officers on guard overnight.
Next day Sub-Inspector Philip started interrogating the neighbours. They heard some screaming sounds and when they check Dr.Evans was Dead lying on the floor.
Inspector Michael arrived at the crime spot and Philip reported him. The time of death was around 10pm and the cause was choking. The fingerprints on glass, and DNA on cigar were of Evans but the Air Ticket was of a person named Clarc, dated August 1st. They found that such person doesn’t exist after matching their database.
Michael had an intuition that something wrong. He asked about the glass to Philip. Philip said that it was lying on the ground. His perspective about the glass changed. Michael confirmed that it was all a diversion to make them focus on Buenos Aires so that they leave the crime scene and let the murderer enter. "How could a glass be lying on the floor just like that, even if it fell from the table it would have broken or cracked, but this glass is just fine" he stated.
Michael opened Evans phone and checked all his mails, messages. but found nothing and then checked his drafts. He found a message "Data is in Magazine".
The murderer was behind some data, they searched for magazines in his residence. They found some Playboy magazines. This was not expected from a Doctor! They got nothing from it. He searched his Wardrobe and found a Ruger-ss-22. Then he doubted if the Magazine referred to the Pistol Magazine. He was right. He found the data drive inside the magazine of Ruger. He sent the Data with the Team.
Michael and Philips decided to get hold of the murderer, as they knew he would comeback for the Data. And according to his vision he came at night and was caught red handed.

“FARSIGHTEDNESS“
TODAY the
college celebrates its golden jubilee in a grand fashion and YOUR PORTRAIT
graces the
occasion
majestically with your brightened eyes and contented face.
Many years
ago, you realised that education was a liberating and empowering force of the
downtrodden.
You initiated the process of starting a government college in your rural town.
Then the
officials
informed you that the public contribution of an amount of rupees two lakhs
towards its corpus
fund was a
prerequisite to start the process.
In your town
education committee, though many spoke about the need of having a college at
their door
steps, none came forward to contribute for the corpus fund. Seeking donations
from many
sources was
also impracticable at that time. Your zeal for the educational development of
your area
forced you
to see differently. You were damn sure that a college there would bring
education to the
needy,
improve women education and empower many poor families in the long run.
You closed
your eyes and contemplated for days without proper sleep. You thought over the
pros
and cons of
relinquishing the portions of your assets for the common cause. In the next
meeting, when
none came
forward with concrete suggestions, you disclosed your mind:
“I’m ready
to contribute the corpus amount fully. I don’t have cash with me. I sell the
front vacant
land of my
house in the Main Road of our town for this purpose.”
So it was
because of your philanthropy, your town got a college and its infrastructure
grew up
gradually
with your guidance, government and public contributions at various stages.
It has now
become an institution of eminence. Many may not know that you were visibly
challenged
by birth and you were the one who had the real vision then.

visionary’s farsightedness illuminates eternally many generations.
